bought one of the boost leek detectors from vijay

without having a compressor

is it possible to do it with a bicycle pump,and how would you know what pressure it was under

how have other peeps done it without a comp ?

I used a foot pump and it seemed to work ok

had to pump for about 2 - 3 mins though, but SEEMED to work.

To be honest if you have a bost leak it's it's gonna be hard work with a foot pump, let alone a bike pump. I did have a few leaks and I could sustain virtually no pressure and that was with the compressor !

due to the hight pressure drop across the tyre valve on and the large volume of the induction tubing/I.C's i had to have the compressor regulator set at about 45Psi to give me about 5psi in the induction side.

We would only need a four wheel readout with our spares all uninflated in the boot or completely missing and that would cost about £224
