Simple question from a newby

 

Does anyone know how to take the glove box out ??

 

The catch is broken

 

Of course I can do it but I want to do it properly so as to avoid damage

Whats the correct sequence..doesnt tell me in the service manual

from what i remember . . . .

 

open glove box and theres a screw on the right undo and lift off metal bar.

cant remember if you remove the lower plastic strip under the glovebox but there are 2 bracket bolts to undo.

Thats it.

 

Been a long time since i done it though but its pretty straightforward.

My memory is so crap I only took it off 2 weeks ago and I can't remember how I got it off but it was really easy to get off and fix.

Easy job mate - and the repair of the catch is fairly straightforward as well. Did mine about 6 months ago and it's been fine ever since.
