Footplates for Sill

Hi all,

 

just wondered if anybody knows if there are replacement/alternative footplates

available, not sure if thats what it is called but that piece of plastic above the sill as you open the door.

How did you get the bend at the rear side?

As ive tried to do this in varying grades of alloy, and the sod keeps splitting frown.gif

Even using a memory dies !!! How thick is the plate? Bending it lenthways on probs. Up curve total b/stad.

The OEM part is made by a company called ALTIA in japan I belive. Its probably got a nissan part number, a few people on www.twinturbo.net were selling them(Oppaman Z)but the price was about $400.

http://ztoyz.net/ said that he should have his own brand early this year but not sure on the price.

It maybe cheaper getting them from Japan

Surely some UK company knocks these out cheap....there seem to be loads adv in all the lax power..breadline type mags.....

 

Any ideas???
