PMSL, just cos yours blows up everytime you get to 88mph!

LMAO :D

That's fine if you did it on a level (and obviously straight) piece of road, however Sat Nav underreads if you're on any kind of gradient (doesn't matter whether you're going up or down)... which is something you need to be aware of if you're approaching a speed camera on a hill. :S

Fair one, measured as the crow flies I guess? but covering more distance up and down hill. Have to watch out for that when pacing in the mountains. You know you've covered a couple of Km of hard slog, but the map just shows 1km with tight contours. Dave

Yeah, although I guess there's no reason that a smart sat nav system couldn't take the countours into account to calculate your real speed. Anyone know of one that does this?

160 kms

Hardcore! Now i understand why you cant get away from fiestas and astras, seeing as both will do OVER 160 km/h  Dude if you look near the handbrake you will see this stick with a ball on the end. Check in with your local driving instructer and he will tell you how to change gear and thus break that ever elusive 160 km/h barrier !

Never used a GPS myself so don't know. But dont they do altitude? or is it just flat mapping? Excuse me getting off subject and talking boll*X but was just curious as I've stubbornly refused to touch gps's as I like my map reading in the mountains.
