thinking of removing spoiler from ztt, will it make a difference to the handling??

what do you all think? are they only any use flat out on a track or just cosmetic.

cheers in advance

i wouldnt take it off if i were you, going to tesco's might result in sideways action due to loss of downforce at speeds less than 300MPH with the standard spoiler!

The rear spoiler on a Z makes marginal diff TBH, I had a smoothed tailgate with lip, no spoiler. The car felt light over 150's but I guess any would. Round town and up to a ton (which is plenty ;)) it didn't make any diff at all.

Cheers

Tyres? well the cheaper the less grip generally, or at least if they grip well, they dont last as long and are not as high speed rated (+ noisy!)

re the tyres.

i meant if i took them off altogether.

would it make a difference, maybe the car would suffer from a little understeer.

If you got the Z in a wind tunnel and measured the downforce, it would be hardly fook all diff between no spoiler and having one, the air just swoops off of the TT design lip spoiler at a slightly diff angle, it has hardly any more mass, it doesnt really interfeer enough with the airflow from the roof to warrant huge downforce.

I think your car would suffer from fooked rims no steering at all lol :nana2:
