mines ecu help

hi i have a mines ecu for a man tt but i have an auto tt can i swop the chip? or is ther more to it than that i no u cant put an the man ecu in an auto help plz

    you can use a chip from a an auto to a manual but not the other way round

    Pukka Mines chips are soldered in and covered in something like Araldite, so no chance of getting then out. Take a look see, just in case. If is not got the sealing goop on it then would be possible to swap the chip but a manual ECU still won't work in an auto car as I believe it has some extra circuitry to talk to the autobox controller.
