drove 300 miles in the last 2 days in my zed got to my mates house today with the intentions of replacing all brake components.

jacked the rear end up went to undo the passenger side wheel and well lets put it like this.

 

1. one stud totaly sheared off and missing

2. one further stund rounding out

3. 2 others finger tight

 

 

yeah and there was no vibration the only one not touched/loose was the locking wheel nut

the worst part is i had been doing a little over the speed limit most of the way and if that had failed well i would not be here now to add this post so here is to the gods of zed may you rule forever

i need a complete set of wheel nuts as having had a closer look at mine most of them are crap so if you can bring them to trax with you it would be appreiciated and yeah as for the speeds i had been doing 140 plus and im now listening for every minor noise in the car and im getting rather paranoid

Maybe it was lucky that you didnt come to Bruntingthorpe then!!
