HKS carbon fiber exhaust

I was looking on the HKS USA website at a very tasty looking carbon and titanium exhaust for the 300 and I was wondering does anyone know if they are available for the 2+2 twin turbo as the american turbo model is a two seater only?. Also how come the american 300zx, which (and I could be wrong on this) has extra exhaust restrictions due to pre-cats and is set to run on lower octane fuel than the UK model,(92 as opposed to 95)

pushes out 300bhp and responds better to mods (it seems) than the Uk/japan models which push out 'only' 280bhp?

Thanks for any help,

Brian.

I don't know about the exhaust...but I think there's a guy on twinturbo.net that has that exhaust on his 2+2 Non Turbo

The catback-part of the 2+2 Non Turbos can be used on 2+2 TT's without any problems.

The UK/Euro-Z's also have precats (4 cats in total)...the Japanese ones don't.

Apparently the octane system in the US is different from that overhere....so their 92 is the same as "our" 95

Having owned both a US TT and a EURO TT, I must say the US one feels quicker in stock form.

This might be due to the fact that the US (2-seater) TT is lighter and smaller then the EURO 2+2's.

I think there's a slight difference in the chip that makes that the US-TT's have a little bit more power...

yeah from what ive heard there version of 95 octane fuel is actually closer to 99 octane. could this be wht the JWT chips run so rich over here? (just a thaught)
