December 30, 200124 yr my concept 500 alarm has gone in the blackjax protection mode ... but i've no idea how to shut it off - i've entered the code , but it stays on...any ideas? it's really cold outside !
December 30, 200124 yr ok - thanks for all the advice ;o) erm. right. my car is now dead - the guy from the rac came out, and despite me telling him not to - he pulled the fuses from the alarm control - which of course makes the siren go into self powered mode, and go off constantly. grrrrr. however - that seems to have stopped now (presumably because it was on for 5 minutes, or has run out of battery), and the alarm is now left with no power... I know that the instructions say "walk a few blocks to your car, enter your code and all will be good" but i have entered the code. I know that i haven't entered the code wrong three times, but if the alarm has locked itself to further attempts, how easy is it for the dealer to reset this...or is it really bad news (probably) ;o(
December 30, 200124 yr Grr I had this problem with my Toad AI606 - left the fookin stereo switched on all day (which in turn powers up the amps) and I get back to my car and nothing. Deadlocked and shut-down. I got in thru the boot and popped the bonnet - banged on a set of jumper cables and hit the 'open' button on the key fob and it allowed me to start the bloody thing. Farking alarms get em on a bad day and the over-zealous bastards will stop you dead. Hope you get it sorted! BTW Clifford can be called on 0800-929949 and they will give you the number of your local dealer (who will give you fuck-all help over the phone. Because you prolly are a car thief phoning up for the over-ride code LMAO) ------------------ Glen :)
