Currently, this stands at the top of the ladder for being the very worst advert on TV right now.

 

 

YEAH! Sainsburys' "Little Bill" adverts. Gowd, I watched TV in bed this morning and not being in a fantastic mood, that came on!! Ruined my day!

i'll put two ad's in first one is the vodaphone home tariff you know the one? (hunny the bungee broke, unlucky) the other is pampers training nappies with those blokes tying to imitate kids and they show them on sky nearly every single comercial break

"

New one that came onto the TV recently is one of the 'hair' products. In which a group of doctors bring a woman into A&E and start operating on her...ie, washing her hair etc...that's pretty crappy. Made me switch over almost instantly.

Yeah, feckin awful. At least the frequency of screenings on terrestrial Tv has been reduced drastically, can't say for sky though.

 

That bear one was shown for a while, but that's vanished as well.

 

What seems increasingly stupid is that people spend time and money on ring tones, wall papers and other shit for ones' phone...why? I'm not just talking about kids either. The amount of adults I've heard with phones playing the most awful ring tones and sounds, does my head in.

 

My phone sounds like a phone...ie, it rings rather than plays a gay little tune.

what about those adverts for cheap CDs... cant remember the company but the bloke goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on a bit like this really.....and it plays u a sample of each of the 3000 songs on the album... and then gives u details on payment and ordering 5 times.....usually during the half hour comercial break during the simpsons on sky one!

You guys probably dont see a lot of this with u all being drivers, but i catch a lot of busses and with the modern phones playing 'real' music on loudspeaker the kids on the bus play the most awful music at full volume and cos its on a crappy phone speaker it sounds shite! The other day some kid refused to stop playing music so this guy took his phone off him and threw it out the bus window and the kid started shouting saying he was gonna ring the police and everyone on the bus turned and looked at him and basically said..... we didnt see anything you little brat ! :smash: Busted !

At times, it reminds me why I don't have Sky....least the house is spared from QVC and 'The God Channel'.

 

Although I'd get Sky/Digital or whatever JUST for the discovery/history channels.
