:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: If you want to see pics of these fookin speakers just search the forum he has posted loads of links saying worlds best speakers, but at £1200 what do you expect. If your thinking about sticking them in your GSI your out of luck as they are Hifi speakers for the house, not Z related.. And i think there are a few members on here that think he is on commision with the company and think he meant to type WORLDS WORST MOST EXPENSIVE SPEAKERS that nobody on here wants. Rant over.

feck me £1200 I could build a right system for that

saying that I used to own some little wharfedale speakers Id never heard anything like them then and since,,

so loud with bass and good treble

i meant pics of them on his head

NOT the speakers ;)

ASFAIK, nelson works for Shell, not a speaker company.

If thats the case why does'nt he close his shell and stop posting threads about Hifi speakers.

Agreed mate, they are the boll ox i have read reviews on them. Well said PK1.

I doubt it - they are full of sound- corrupting passive crossovers aren't they ?...

and they lack a reflecting transmission line. they also need 3 stereo or 6 mono-amps. speaker manufacturers have gone down an inferior avenue in the design considerations matrix, and are scared/unwilling to go back a better/best way. This is why they will never get much better, no matter how well they make them. It's a bit like making the best steam engine - it can never be as good as a petrol/diesel internal combustion engine.

r u bored yet ??!

Even if they are better, I bet the Resolutions for £1200 are far, far better value.

Wtf?! Sorry Nelson, nothing personal with you but this is just p**sing me off. Why don't you go and join a speaker forum and stick to Zeds on here. I enjoy speaking to people about there outside interests, its what makes this board more interesting and personal than the others. But all you're doing is giving it the salesman drivel, talking about things you don't really understand (unless maybe you are an acoustics engineering degree or something). Its like chavs who drive novas at 60mph talking about the pros and cons of ferrari brake systems; all they know is what they've read from the sales pitch or in magazines. Sorry bud but please take it elsewhere. Dave

Well said.

what the **** are you on about nelson??

you ever seen heard or been anywhere near the nautilus speakers???

i have i own a pair in my studio. did you also know that the reason they made that shape speaker is that the internal sound vibrations and resonant responses resulted in a zero point reflection, which means that all internal frequencies cancell themselves out as the soundwaves and reflections get closer to the center of the spiral they basically flip and cancel themselves out..

every sound engineer knows that if you take a sound wave flip it and play that back at itself it cancels the other out .. result no noise.

******posting edited as to not offend those who seek political correctness on this forum.******

you know when mine were made i actually went to the factory where they are made. it was a very interesting experience and when they put them in the anechoic chamber for testing i was even more blown away.

when you buy these you also get a dvd that showcases the research and design and how they were made tuned and finished.

****edited****

heres my little programming suite at home..96 channels of console and 128 tracks of 128bit 96khz digital recording.. thats before i get to the studio..
