Hello mate,

I'm sure you can download it from Limewaire or one of those download sites or Ebay for £10-15 :)

Vijay

i can post you the new tom tom 5 nav software for free if you want it and instruction on how to install it on your xda. An other good gps tool is gps dash on http://www.gpsdash.com. it what chunk was running in his car at bruntingthrope. gives ft/per second top seed all the bits you will ever need. also topless if you need the gps recvicer let me know i have a guy that can source them for a good price.

Mark,

I've got the same setup.

Just order the TomTom GPS unit on it's own off eBay (it's about the best you can get, you know it's compatable and only a few quid more than the cheap plasticky ones) then get a copy of the software ;)

Gps dash looks fun :)

Just installed this on my Smart Phone and it looks great for a freebie. Just got to get a GPS receiver now

Don't try using it in Scotland unless it comes with a water wheel backup :)

Hi,

You might as well get some new oil hose from a local motor factors bud, can order you some if you specifically want the Nissan stuff?

Hi Topless

As you know it's got a 90 bend in it and short.. Had all my store room pipe stuff out and can't find a thing like it. Thanks I'll find somthing as the nissan unit must cost £250 or it only comes with a pair of turbo's and an offside headlamp :)

Thanks for the help guys!

I haven't seen the solar powered GPS units, but I do know that the BT-338 GPS unit I bought lasts loads longer on a charge than my phone does when running routing software!

TomTom 5 on an SPV C500 smartphone. From the little I've used it so far, I think it's great. As I say, the phone battery seems to run down alarmingly quickly (5 or so hours and the battery warning light comes on) when running it, but it does the job.

Ive tried searching for the tom tom software for my Pocket Pc XDA111! no luck yet just bogus file's on limewire :(

limewire is no good for the software as i found and tried a few but they were not registered or cracked. I got mine from newsgroups and put it on the sd card for my ipaq, when i turned it on it installed straight away. Got a car kit off a very nice guy in southampton he even installed it in the car as I was there.

BTW it's Tomtom 5 with uk map + speed cameras.

Chris.

Cheers Mate!!

Got a copy of the Above sent to me as a rar file and ive opened it but not sure how to install (no instructions)

I unpacked it to my hard drive on the pc then put the sd card in a 12 in 1 card reader and transfered the files to it. When it was inserted in the ppc it installed itself. Good luck!

Chris.

Oh yeah - I've got the guys phone no. if you wanna buy a car kit for it too.

I've got a copy of that sent to me as an iso and installed it on my spv 2000 but how do you copy extra maps??? ive tried copying maps to my spv 2000 but Tom Tom does not find them?

The car kit is a suction holder with speaker and gps receiver all powered from the lighter socket and cost £80. If you want it posted it's an additional £8.

I just put the extra map on the sd card and Tomtom found it straight away!
