Just back from a weeks hol's in the UK with the family. Had my eyes peeled every day we were driving to spot one . Even offered my 6 year old daughter a tenner if she saw one before me!...........Nope , nothing, diddly squat..

Porsches, Ferrari's, you name it, but no 300zx. Apart from a visit to Zedworld and a z31 spotted, which was some consolation, I was still surprised, considering we travelled a lot over the 7 days.

Just annoyed I couldn't post a "was it you" thread  :)

Anyway, boddingtons bitter is now my fave drink, Brought two cases home with me..hic...buurrp..hic...

Interesting choise for a holiday??? most people try to escape

Definitly a rare breed. I can only account for another four in Plymouth. Very rarley see them though. I've only seen a couple in Canada. I guess the only time you would have seen them on a regular basis was in Japan 12 or so years ago. Now their dissipated all over the globe. long live the Z  .

Head to California. Apparently 94% of all 300ZX production went the the USA and the sunshiny State has the largest number of all.

Holy shit I go get me anorack.

The car was really made for the American market.

Nissan had a competition between the Japanese designers and the US designers for the shape of the car. When they made a short list of their favourate ones, they where all the Japanese designs. Every single US one didnt get a second look in.

That's strange as it almost has an American look about it.

It has an american look but it doesnt look american thank god.

Seems to be quite a lot of them around my house - definitely bucking the countrys statistical average !

When I got mine 2 months ago I hadn't seen another one here ever, now I have seen 6 within a 5 mile radius, least mines is not standard so looks a bit different.

Hello mate. I am in Canada at the moment, I have seen a few, but not many. Saw 2 SWBs and one 2+2. Canada is an amazing country, Really enjoying it

  • 3 weeks later...

I drove up the M1 for 60 miles from Silverstone on Sunday and saw 3 zeds and 3 F40's. But 2 of the zeds were coming from Trax in a mini convoy.
