Lots of talk about Chavs on this sight. So guys and galls whats the difference between someone with lots of money spending it on their car and someone with limited funds or whatever. Me, i aint got no money.

its a medway town thing isnt it? got a few mates from round there that have been using it as a term of affection - like mucker, mate, bud etc for years. media gets hold of it, turns it on its head, all of a sudden its a bad thing!

CHAV is getting a 1.0L metro puttin a 6r4 bodykit on it with standard wheels and hand painting it then stickin Amstrad speakers in the boot off yer home hifi then goin out in it and sayin it will piss on ferrari,s, then drivin round town like a total :xxx: with no common sense and endangering the eight 12 year olds in the car with you 2 of which youve got up the duff caus they liked yer burberry fookin flat cap!!!! :xxx: :xxx: .................just my opinion obviously

According to a documentary on sky, chav is actually a not rude but still derogatory term used in south london to desribe a child. In use for example, at a pub "dont let him in hes just a chavvie". Thats my uderstanding of it anyway.

Yeah, money doesn't count....it's taste....or lack of that is the issue here. So if you have little money, it's better not to do anything to your car rather than cover it in graphics, neons, crappy exhausts and suck like.

I thought the meaning of chav was 'council house and violent'? No offence to anyone. Thats just what i was told. Anyway, if they ain't got no money how the fook do they afford all the neons and fookin speakers!!
