I bought this TT manual for my brother and it seems that the engine is going to hell.

 

I am between recondition / replace with a used engine.

 

Can you tell me how much for recondition?

Also how much for a used one and where to find one?

 

Any advice?

I'd go with stillen rebuilt engine, $3500 american currency and a lot of nissan dealerships will actually warrenty stillen parts and engines since stillen is just oem parts tricked out

SE will do a complete “top end” rebuild ie head skim, valves and seats re-cut etc for £2200. They are also honing the bores and fitting new rings for an extra £550. Mine is having the work done at the moment and should be finished mid Jan so I will post how well it went. But be prepared for a long wait though, mine has been in for two months having the work done. But at least they are local should something need re-doing.
