The Green, yellow or white?

or do i need to do something different

everytime I locate the boss onto the (butchered) hicas/horn black plastic round part (which has 3 contacts - the green/yellow/white wires) - the horn goes off. Ive tried shorting all 3 together (like the boss is fitted) and it doesnt go off???????????

I have tried putting insulating tape in order over each one and if I cover the yellow contact the boss goes on without horn going of..

However - the horn doesnt work if i try and use it then ???

Any ideas please.

sussed it

it was the yellow wire - it is for horn - however it touches the outer casing of the momo boss, so I cut the white and green wires (these are for cruise control - i think) and wired the yellow up to where the white wire went - this constantly makes contact with the momo horn ring.

:)

now to just figure out and reposition the cruise control switches. :)

lol, no - I checked but must have missed it - I worked it all out now though - pretty much done what you have already said :)

I went one step further and cut round the retainer ring that hold the plastic slide contact in place so it oversits on my hub (if you know what I mean).

Job look absolutely perfect :)

thanks anyway matey.
