Back in love with my Z - thanks to Phil at CS Wood!

Basically, my Z was an embarrasment. It hadn't been washed for almost 12 months, the paintwork had turned a dull pink colour.

Also the back end wobbled like mad going around corners and going over bumps. It didn't go well, it didn't stop either!

So I visted ex-forum member "PhilZ" at CS Wood (a place known to many North West Z owners). He put new rear discs on the rear, new pads all round, a new caliper on the front, fitted braided brake hoses all round and bled the entire system and refilled with DOT5.1.

He also bled my clutch, replaced the rear HICAS arms, fixed a vacuum leak and a boost leak. A full service and MOT were also done.

But for me the best part was that he buffed the entire car, it now just looks like it did when it first emerged from the PPS paint shop a couple of years back. He also painted my wiper arms and replaced my long-time cracked drivers door mirror.

The fact that he managed to do all this in the space of just under two days is nothing short of a miracle. This unashamed "plug" for Phil is just a way of saying "THANKS!" - I'm no longer embarrased, or feel in danger of having a bad accident due to a neglected car.

This has re-awakened my enthusiasm for my Z (and this community) and I'll my best not to let it slip again :headvswal
