As above. If its taking things apart and putting em back together then I can do that no problem but once we get into management stuff I'm stuffed and so frustrated I don't know where to look next.

Should i start with new fuel regulators and pump. The ECU had problems that Camco sorted. Hosing and pipework all new and seem correct.

This is all really getting me down and I really need help.

1) Are sure your ECU is correct for yuor injectors?

2) Get a fuel pressure gauge on there so you can see what's happening

as jaffa says look at those first,

my bro's mr2 was overfulling all the time turned out to be the maf sensor!!

i had an over fueling problem earlier on in the year it turned out to be the AFM. The ECU didnt detect the fault at first then started showing up after e few weeks, so i swopped the AFM and bingo! its been ok ever since.

??? It's suppost to be the correct Chip for 555's. got someone coming at the weekend to check that and fuel presure out.

Was thinking of getting an upgraded regulator with gauge on it so I'll always know whats what.

Well I'll try borrow one first and see if that resolves it. Coz they sure aint cheep to buy if its not that.

I wouldn't bother with second hand as you don't know how long it would last.

When and who from did yer buy the 555's mate ? reason i ask is i know there was a large batch of nismo's that went out that were infact greater than 555cc and when guys in the US were having problems with their cars this was found, though in the past couple of months, a few customers of Ash's in the US have susposedly genuine nismo's which are less than 555's.

I really think you need to get yer car down to the "harry ramsden" of chips, John dixon and pay him to check it out once and for all mate.

Last October from Chris at get Greddy or you? I carn't remember, but I was in a hurry because I paid johnny for them and he couldn't get them for some reason. They went straight to grass hopper and I never got the reciepts. If you remember I got you to send me copies of reciepts for the turbos and a shit load of other stuff I got from you earlier in June. Cos that all went direct to GPS and the reciepts that were with the kit went missing.

This thing is over fueling that much I did 87 miles and used half a tank and had 3 ltr more oil than I started with. So the mountain is going to come to Mohamed and hope fully we won't end up frying my engine.

Yep i remember now mate, nope it wern't me that sorted his injectors out though i was going to if he didn't get sorted. If you do a search on twinturbo.net you'll see what i mean about the injectors lately have been different flow rates so it's deffo worth checking them out and the chip at same time, both obviously JD can do for yer quite easily.

Only other thinh that cause overfuelling that i know is the ECU temp sensor, however i know in my case it overfuelled so much it wouldn't start

So it all kinda points to the 2 things above mate.

ggod luck

I'll check TTnet out, but as I said at the start. If its management systoms it could be staring me right in the face and I wouldn,t see it.

So are you sugegsting the fuel isn't getting there via the injectors ? What if one of the fuel regulator/vacuum pipe things have gone wrong somewhere ? Fuel direct into the plenum, one side would get more due to the small balance bar between the two sides, some may get blown back through the PCV's into the crankcase ... worth thinking about ...

Take a look at the vacuum pipes on the fuel damper, in fact, blank them off and then test it. It is possible that it's sucking fuel in through it !

Andy I'm not suggesting anything. I've run out of suggestions thats why I'm asking for them. I'm quite interested in what you say because that might explain why O/S slightly worse as thats the side closes to the pick up points on the balance bar. Its also the side that gets fuel first which is why i'm thinking the ECU is saying pump more baby.

Anyway I'm hoping a better brain than mine is going to look at it at the weekend.

Try what I suggested, blank off the vacuum feed to the fuel damper.

Did you get anywhere with this ?

EEEEERRRRMM Well I'd crossed over the plug on the O/S O2 sensor and the emissions controler plug :o

So the ECU was seeing no fuel in the mixture a telling the pump to pump for Britain.

Took J D about 10 min's to sus. The he reset my throttle possition switch and A presto every thing was reading spot on.

See what happens you get the right man on the job mate :)

glad yer all sorted anyways, with this problem at least :)

cheers
