sticky rear caliper

on the rear drivers side i noticed a continual squeak today and some strange noizes.

it sounded like no pads and metal touching the disc.

i have taken the rear wheel off pulled the pin and rods out and checked the pads, they are fine, loads of wear left. so i cleaned all the crap off, cleaned all the crap off the two rods so they were smooth for the pads to travel on.

and just got all the crap of everything.

i didnt remove the whole caliper as im not sure on that one!! lol

but i wanna know how hard is it to do them? take the caliper totally off clean it all out and re-fit?

bearing in mind i know feck all about cars, i wanna learn at least this so ican sort it out myself in the future..

many thanks guys.. in advance
