How do you fancy this one ?

 

 

A centrally placed hotel sometime in Xmas where we arrange to have a Xmas bash, would include a 3 course meal, drinks and a bed for the night. It would be a great laugh and i'm sure if we get enough numbers we could get a great deal. We'd have to book soon though as all these places get booked up with Xmas works partys.

I would aswell this is a subject I brought up recently but it didn't seem to spark a lot of interest.

I bloody HATE Christmas....plus it's mid August...last thing I wanna think about. I got a glossy Christmas brochure through the post in mid June. Without hesitation, I duly took it into the garden, doused it in petrol and ceremoniously set fire to it.

 

....anyway, yeah, I'm up for that...

I still hate christmas, but yeah, saying I'm up for it is a bit of an oxymoron. But hey, it's a nice chance for some good grub and some good company.

Depends how much your looking at paying, per person. Waht sort of place are you after - cheap and cheerful, mid-priced and a bit classy, or downright posh and snobby :D

I've tried 'em all (sh1tty B&B's in Blackpool, to the Grovesnor House on Park Lane) and find the middlish ones to be the most fun.

 

I know a guy at the Hinckley Island Hotel (http://www.paramount-hotels.co.uk/destinations/central_england/hinckley_island_hotel) - very nice, could get a good rate for a party booking ;);)

Gotta be somewhere that has a decent resturant/bar/disco facility pref with a motel added on.

 

 

A good function place should do the meal and disco for around £20 a head, then its just the cost of a bed.
