ok then anyone know the difference bettwen an auto tt zed engine and a manual tt engine??

 

i think the cams are diffrent but that is it im sure??

 

i am fitting a tt manual import engine im my uk auto tt zed with the auto turbos will i see a diffrence in performance??

well i read somewhere that the tubs are bigger on the manuals, i maybe wrong

the other difference ive heard of is the final drive in a manual box is larger than auto so its got a greater top speed

Other way round, auto's theoretic top speed is 201, manual errr...less :)

 

But yeah cams and turbos, basically to bring auto performance in line with the manuals

so what performance will i have with a manual engine running auto tubs, and auto gearbox??

i had an auto to manual conversion done last year. supposedly having auto turbos (quicker spool-up) in a manual is slightly better - although i couldnt really tell any difference. not sure about manual engine with autobox tho...

Who done your auto to manual conversion and what did it cost i have just recentle bought a 91 twin turbo import
