Aerial adaptors?

Removed my stereo to plug in the aerial and the std nissan aerial has a weird 2 pin plug on it - not a standard aerial connector? Is there an adaptor for this or do I need to run a new aerial extension cable to rear of car? Cheers

an adapter costs about £15!! or you can get a solder connector for about 50p, chop the end off & solder it on!!

available at all good ICE stockists!!

Do you know what the thin Co-Ax is for?

Ive wired up the thick co-ax and all is fine but there was a thinner co-ax too?

Is it for a hidden AM antenna or something?

It's probably for the antenna built into the rear window.

correct!

so is it worth wiring them both up or just the main one?

both, in fact iv disconnected my 'leccy aerial as i think they look pants up!!

reception is fine through the rear screen.

solder the centre core of both leads to the centre pin & the outer shielding of both leads to the outer part of the terminal. tidy up with some insulation tape - job done :)
