so wy they for off road. or show use only?

Who gives a fook they look great (bluey tinge) and i can actually see at night now, the first time (with the original bulbs) i drove me zed in the dark it was rainin and i was stuck doin bout 40 mph for 2 hours FFS old grannies were passin me in micras

From my own experience - I've had mine fitted over two years ago now - there is no problem with fitting 100W bulbs. The thing you need consider is that if you get regular H3 bulbs (from Halfords, etc) you'll need to solder on an additional lead to connect to an earthing point. This is not difficult but it is crucial you do it properly and use a high amp rated wire. There is a mod you can do to connect one of the screws on the bulb mounting plate but that requires taking the whole light unit out. The bulbs as pictured above are proper H3C bulbs which do not require any modifications as they already have two terminals.

Yea cheers m8 have already done the mod using 55w bulbs

 

but can get HC3's 100w now ;)
