Well, just had a thought. We have our nice big meet soon. Just wondering....in a few months or so, if anyone is interested, all go karting somewhere. Could be good as there looks to be a decent about of interest in the SW scene. :)

 

There's a karting centre in Bridgwater and (I think) one near Cheddar....I'm sure there are more nearer the centre of the area...Exeter maybe?

There's one in Western Zoyland, outdoor one, on the old airfieid.

 

That's in Wedmore, indoor and I know they do minimoto as well, not sure if it's hire or run what you brung only

 

Dunno about Exeter, not an avid karter just happen to drive past those two sites a lot.

Oh yeah, course there is. I drive through Westernzoyland twice a week!! LOL

Sun 25th (september) (will not be suitable for me)

Once we can confirm a date, I'll get some details on Prices and select a venue (if anyone has been to some of these, please advise best venue)

I'd say go for the 18th, decent enough space of time between this weekend's meet...also, you can make that one.

Somerset Pro Karting , Westonzoyland. I have spoken to them..we need at least 12 people to confirm...and they will then require a £100 deposit.

1 Hour Endurance £75 per team

1.5 Hour Endurance £105 per team

2 Hour Endurance £130 per team

Recommended team sizes:

1-1.5 Hours 1-3 Drivers

2-2.5 Hours 3-6 Drivers

 

 

Gran prix

£35 per person

- Each driver has a five lap warm up session

- Each driver has 3 x 5 lap qualifying heats

- Qualifying drivers enter a 5 lap semi final

- Top drivers will drive in an 8 lap final

- Souvenir photo

- Bottle of Bubbly
