Noticed a couple of nights ago that the rear side light on the drivers side was dimmer than the other side.Only today had time to look at it,not sure if it has been getting proggressively dimmer but to say it was a glimmer today is been kind.
Checked for usual connections ,wiring no problem, was about to do a votage test to the bulb when the lights went out completely!!
After much fiddling and failing light conditions decided to reverse up to my garage so I could see better, but then notices as I reversed the lights check bulb not on,this should of been alerting me to the no side light. So went straight for the warning unit (clipped inside the light apperture on the drivers side) pulled it apart smelt a bit erm... nasty, happened to have a spare one anyway so plugged it in and all working perfectly!! So removed a bulb and check light came on etc, must conclude the unit was failing slowly? might be worth remembering.
