Hi Guys,

 

I'm having a few problems with my beast at the moment. Handed it in to a garage just for some basic body work and now there a mechanical problems. Is there anyone in the South London region that could help me out?

 

I have spoken to Johnny and GPS and he told me there were a few of the guys in the region.

 

My car is in Balham at the moment and what i need to do is bring the ignition module from my car and stick it in one of yours. If the car starts, then i know its not the ignition module thats causing problems and if it doesn't, then i've got a bill on my head but at least i know what the problem is.

 

Alternatively, someone could come to Balham if they are local and we could do the testing there. I dont want to inconvenience anyone though.

The car is starting but only runs for 30 seconds and then cuts out.

 

Error code on the ECU is giving code 1 3.

has anyone got a haynes manuel or any other documentation?

The online manual is in the tech section and there is also a CD version if you ask the right person (like nearly everyone here I should think!)

Gents,

 

A big thank you to everyone that helped with this. In the end, i sent it to SE in Maldon and they changed to Air Flow Meter. Cars running now at least and it felt pretty damn good on the motorway last night. Few small issues but am working on them.
