well heres my kit..

 

22mm 90 degrees angles.

3 pieces of 22mm copper pipe. i will solder these up tonight (still got me plumbing gear!!) 4 hose clips 22mm

1 length of 1m 3/4" heater hose pipe 10bar rating.

tomorrow i will fit it and also top up the radiator with coolant, or do i need to drain it all?

 

i can still see coolant in the rad and its still bright green.

 

lemme know and i will sort it out tomorrow.

MAte you can do the bypass with just the hose and a couple of jubilee clips, no need to go mad with the piping. It doesnt even matter if the hose you use is kinked, as the heater matrix circuit is a side shoot off the main coolant circuit, if you block it the coolant in the block will still flow. You are just stoipping the water pissing out.

 

Give me a bell on 07812-586102 if this doesnt make sense

Im looking to bypass the plenum but never seen any piccys on a "How To".

I know thats just a piccy of the matrix bypass but has anyone got any for the plenum bypass please?

problem with mine is the heater pipe that i bought fkn kinks when bent, i have now been informed by ryan at ztech that it has to be kink free so the water can flow, i did try the 22mm pipes and they were to big and would of touched surrounding wires pipes etc..

so now i gotta find a pre bent section of heater hose tomorrw :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal w..

well did my bypass today..

 

what a fkn tight ass place to work in!!

 

took me ages to get the pipework done and installed, mind you my hands do look like shovels..

 

but i got the bypas installed in the end. i now have to get a damn airlock out tomorrow.

 

im gonna have to buy some of that nice nissan premixed coolant tomorrow also.

 

the stuff in my rad at the moment is a bright sorta luminous green and if i remember right the nissan stuff is also.

 

i dont wanna put too much water in there tomorrow or the coolant will be too weak.

on a NA is there any bennifit .. I done it on my old camaro.. and it was great... but what about a NA????
