Steve (Cybernet) has asked me to take over the arrangements while he is currently honeymooning in Sunny Las Vegas.

 

Joint South East and South West Meet

Bournemouth

Saturday 13th August AND/OR Sunday 14th August

 

These are the proposed dates to fit around existing SE and SW pre-arranged meets.

 

The Suggested Idea would be to Meet up Saturday, with the option of going somewhere in the evening Drinks/Food/Club, and staying over at a Hotel.

 

Steve has looked into hotels for the night, spaces are limited and we would be looking at around £50 per person for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.

 

Please indicate your preferences :

 

Saturday 13th only

Sunday 14th only

saturday-sunday with Hotel

saturday-sunday without Hotel

 

Then we'll decide the best way of going forward....

Should be able to make it, car has not been out of the garage since the b/que at Butser Hill near Petersfield. A good blowout across the New Forest should do the trick, though I expect the traffic will be heavy.

It's a 2 hour trip for me Jay so I'll be leaving mine at about 11am. Where would be a good place to hook up do you think? I'll either come down the A3/A31 or the M3..

Good to meet you all and sorry I did not say good bye properly.. Just that rain was wet.. It took me 1hr to get home.. Better than the time me and Steve did on the way down I met Steve at Fleet and it took 3hrs..!!

 

Plus Sorry about my parking skills in that big wide empty car park :p

Good to meet everyone, like Steve said shame about the rain!!! Felt a bit rude didn't say bye to everyone properly.

I'm afraid I chickened out. Having spent over an hour doing 5 miles at the bottom of the M27,and it had turned 2oclock and I still had 25 miles to go at what appeared to be a crawl, I turned round and got home in 30 minutes!. I'm afraid the road over the New Forest is bad news in the holiday season as everyone seems to be going down the west country. Make it a Sunday next time.

Unfortunately had you managed to persevere until Rigwood then the traffic disappeared! We will see you next time.

Unfortunately we had a bit of a heavy night on Friday and my mates were struggling to drum up the enthusiasm to turn up!! The useless g!ts!! We did manage to turn up at 12.55 in my mates (cough/choke!) Mundane st24 estate, but by 1.15 the life had ebbed out of them and they wanted to rest their weary heads! Sorry boys! I'm definitely bringing my shorty down next time, so there'll be no lame-arsed excuses! Met up with Gaz on Friday night and enjoyed a few beers with him and his mrs - good to meet you mate, you and yer gal are top peeps! Sorry, if I was a bit 'wandery' in JJ's - I was a little intoxicated and refocused my sights from zeds to girls by then! I did my best to get mondeo boy and mx5 boy to have another shot at the meet, but I failed totally! Saw Martinfas zed wandering around town whilst I was in Yates on Friday night - fantastic looking zed, mate - knocked spots of anything (car-wise!) wandering around town!

£45 pounds a hour well I got to pay for my tyres :smash: :smash: and yep he needs a zed too it was a pain in the ass that rain, I did not get time to look around the zeds :rolleyes: guess it stop me thinking I need one of those and that etr etr
