2.5 v6 was 170 brake wernt they.. a friend of mine converted his cally to v6 tuned by courtney got 6sp box lightend and balanced fly ported and polished, race cams,remapped produced aprox 250 bhp was very quick car my z is a smoother pickup than that tho

Yeah the C25XE is rather sluggish on take up. Flywheel is some 17kgs. 170bhp was factory figure, but the engines loosen up one hell of a lot when run in. More so than on any other engine I've seen. My was just shy of 190 on the rollers. Not seen one less than 180.

 

You can get some fairly decent power from them. Really restrictive exhaust manifolds though.

Have a deposit on it. Just as a holding one as it's a grade 4 and certified that way. Spoke to the guy today and they're doing the cambelt and poss water pump.

 

View it and driving it tomorrow. Gio and Richard Smith have kindly agreed to come along with me to check it out. So should be putting down the whole deposit down and picking it up the weekend after next. Just waiting for the rest of the cash for my convertible now and that's it. :)

I did ask them about it and they said they'd check it all out. When I spoke to him, they ended up trailoring the car back as the cam belt was slack and making a slight noise. Which is the reason why the dealer wants it changed. So that's pretty good and honest really.

 

I hope it what Im after. Something told me it had leather in it, but found out today that it had cloth. But that doesn't matter too much. I'll have it retrimmed one day.

 

It looks nice from the photos and is grade 4, so should be about the best you can get 'I HOPE'!! lol

it might if i'd put it in yet........ got some tyres yesterday(GOD BLESS MYTYRES.COM).... i'll get them fitted tomorrow.Insurance also starts tomorrow, (GOD BLESS HOUGHTONS). Then its of to see Mr Phil at C&S and all being well (fingers crossed) we can then get some tax ( FVCK YOU MR BROWN) and were up and ready to whip some 300 ass.
