This car on autotrader was previously advertised with genuine 30,000 miles, it has now gone up to 50,000. That means in one month its done enough miles to nearly circumnavigate the globe? Its price has dropped by about £400 so at least the owner has taken into account the 'extra' miles its done. Also now 'Condition,need slight attention' so it looks like its not in quite as good nick as it was last month.

 

The 'genuine' 40K car I bought off this guy a while back actually had 150K on the clock.

Ouch!

It's probably still a genuine 51000 miles, it's just the other 100000 he has genuinely forgot to mention.

I don't bear him much ill will personally, I knew my car was a lemon before I bought it, although listening to him talk up a car that wasn't even good enough for breaking was quite funny- 'Its very powerful mate' was about all he could say.

 

I just feel sorry/annoyed for people who are going to travel a distance to come look at it only to find a bag o' shite waiting for them. Obviously he's had some trouble, thats why he's had to make the description more realistic.

That car has been on there a couple of months at least, I saw it when I was looking for a Z.

its a dog..simple as that

Looks like its changed mileage again, now 49,000. 3 different mileages in as many months, and it still has one years MOT. Its had one years MOT for quite a while now so I guess he must be having it re-Mot'd every month, obviously he spares no expense.
