Tyre sizes

Can someone just tell me what size tyres I should have on my tt. It is a jap import but with 6.5J wheels from a old skyline. The sizes are 205 at the mo but not sure if this right. Cheers. Paul.

    On a standard Jap Spec TT, it has:

     

    225 x 50 x 16 all round.

    225/50 16 is correct for a std Jap import, but they will have 7.5J all round. 205's sound kind of narrow for a car with that much power. I would be serioulsy looking at getting a set of UK spec wheels with appropriate size tyres. Alternatively, splash the cash big style and get a nice set of alloys. Say 18x10 rears and 18x8.5 fronts.
