Hey Hugh, hows it going?

Are you the new TLO? I thought Macca was the TLO?

Anyway not having a go at you or anything but i don't give a toss what the traders think to be honest, simply because I haven't done anything wrong. I got nowt to hide which is why when I was ordering a load of stuff from the states I asked blatantly on the forum if anyone wanted anything (thread). If i was doing something wrong it should have been pointed out then, but it wasnt.

This order I did for me and a few guys was all sorted out off the forum so those rules don't apply, i didn't need the TLOs permission. And besides even if they did apply I don't see how I have gone against this:

"Combined Orders – Members wanting to conduct combined orders on the Club’s forum on a “not for profit” basis must keep the total number of members participating to 5 or less. Combined orders will be moderated if this policy is abused. Combined orders are defined as different item types/multiple buyers sharing shipping costs."

If anyone wants to delete the thread then be my guest, I was just letting the guys know. I'll call them instead.

Ignorance springs to mind with the way he has posted that reply.

So is he allowed to get away with everything then ?

Thats why i bumped the thread

Yeah he's taking the piss now

Mac - we need some bait - like an alais posting about a part we know he has (from that picture he posted), and see if he makes contact to sell ;)

In all seriousness, antics like this have gotta be costing our traders sales

  • 2 weeks later...

I think the first question for Yaseen is whether he is selling these items on a “not for profit” basis in line with the policy (which he quoted). We currently don't have a rule for the number of times someone can do a "not for profit" combined order on the forum or to get approval from the TLO before the combined order goes ahead.

He has posted a misleading advert for the 300 degree BMC as it is only for LHD cars:

So then........................ 1 month on

Look he has given up his job, wonder what he'll be doing for an income

What is the committees answer to this then ? please give a answer this week.

until we have direct proof that he is pursuing and trading on the board there isn't much we can do :S.

i havnt spoken to anyone willing to stand up and say he has contacted them to sell them stuff,

FFS!! He is now REALLY taking the piss IMHO!!

Agreed, really really taking the piss. Whats the betting he places an order for half a dozen Koyos now...

Andrew I think we need to re word the user guide Yaseen is clearley trading on the board and this needs to be stoped!

Iain, as TLO have you spoken to Yas5een on the "not for profit" question? He must make an assurance that he is not doing these orders for profit. He should be asked to do this in writing to the committee otherwise it will be taken it that he is trading on the forum and can be warned/banned under the existing AUP as an unsubscribed trader.

His latest thread has what looks like a GB on Koyo rads. Assuming this is not a wind up as he has quoted the GB/Combined orders policy before then he is breaking the existing GB rule as he should have cleared it with you beforehand. Has he done this?

-Andrew

I will send a pm to yaseen today, outlining the feelings of the traders and the committee, and point out that he is not conforming with the rules regarding GB's, giving him 7 days to reply, if he dont, then he will get yet another 7 day ban.

I will post a copy of the letter I send him in the committee section.

By the way, I have been off work since JAE due to a back injury, im am not in the best of moods as it is, as some of you know, I will not be taking any of the nonsense he gave Jock.

I have not contacted him because I wanted to have feed back from the Committee and he has not contacted me about any GB I am away for a few days now and wont have any PC access so I have asked Neil to look into this.

Right, to keep you all informed, I have been assured by Yaseen that after he has got rid of the parts he is currentley selling, he will not be selling anything more.

He is adament that the parts he recently aquired was part of a large order he did for himself, and other members jumped in to save on postage.

I have informed him of forum policy, and the correct way to go about these things, Also that we have Traders who PAY to trade on this forum, and he is NOT one of them

As far as im concerned, the matter is over, until the next time........
