First, I think Chunk and the other commitee members did a fantastic job of the organisation for this years show.

But on a personal side, I wish the day hadn't happened!

We spent £10 getting in (which was quite good for a whole day, but....), then the autobox failed on trying to park it!! We then went for an expensive couple of coffees. Then watched (and supported) our lads in the Tug-'O-War.................... Then it p155ed it down!!!! :( which meant that I hadn't got around to taking any photos

On the plus side, we met some new faces and had a laugh ;)

I was also thinking that our pitch was a bit out of the way, but considering if the sun had been out all weekend, it would have probably been better in that location, as it was a good size had everyone turned up.

I've got to admit that had we turned up earlier, or better still spent the whole weekend there, and the sun had been out, then it would have been a fantastic time.

I'm sorry to sound a bit down about it this year, but I've got to say that I didn't enjoy it as much as I should of.

This is all my personal view.

Sorry to hear about your Autobox Dave, dead easy to swop over though mate and you'll pick one up cheap enough......

Good luck... :)

Well get yourself there all weekend so you dont miss the Vinz roadshow :D

Sorry to hear that dave...but...

I actually got a sunburnt neck...on saturday/afternoon/evening it was fookin lovely with a very bright sun.

I dont drink coffe only cider :duffer: and it was only 70p a pint..lol

Sunday wasnt as good but then who was concious anyway??? :D

Saturday was a better day.

Its more the company in the marquee than the rest of Jae, i only really walked round for a coffe and to see our traders (danny at dta and smithy etc) the rest of the time i spent on our pitch, or in the tent screwing!!!!

Wish we'd managed to get there in time for Saturday...as it was we ended up arriving early evening. Hit a huge queue on the way over and the missus suggested a detour...and got us hopelessly lost! Ended up rejoining the road we originally left, right before the queue! Lol! ;) Next time we'll be there for the whole weekend as we'll be on the Bodywork Plus stand next year!

Mark,

Thats the problem, I'd already had it repaired the day before!!

Anyway, I wouldn't mind stopping over for the whole weekend next year, whether its at Billing or EoE, but then I've never camped before!!! ;)

I think I was more p155ed off because of the autobox failure, straight after spending £1200 having it fixed, but there you go, not much I could do about it!

Anyway I'll be there, whichever site, next year :D

even though i no longer have a z i still miss the jae weekend had so much fun at them

Yes mate it was (as suspected ;) ) Got it all sorted out at my local Nissan dealer, and the garage that did the work in the first place are paying for it (as it was cheaper than having it shipped all the way down there again). So I'm a little happier now than I was on Sunday ;)
