Must have been a massive heater matrix to make that much mess...........

I see its a left hooker.

No doubt some daft foreigner trying to do a richard branson across the channel in their zed!!!!!

it looks like its on the right hand side to me. note the wooden panel is still on the passangers side.

if that was my car, i would cry

Car is in Romania, sometime last week after a nice sunny day it started to rain, 4 hours later a sudden and unexpected torrent swept through the village and the damage was done before any one could escape!

Presently the ecu, ptu, afm, cruise control ecu , power steering ecu are are UK bound to us for testing! however I am thinking water MUST have got into the engine as the water level was at the top of the headlights at it`s worst.

Unfortunatly for the owner local mechanical knowledge is restricted to tractors and small carts!

will post the findings.

if it was up to the headlights then it will have come up the air intake and probably in through the crankcase breather to the inside the engine, nice!

i have bother keeping all the connectors free from moisture without having it submerged in water!

good luck to all involved!!
