Well, how do i start, nearly 3 months of planning, loads of stress and headaches all for one of the best weekends ive ever had.

I arrived at Peterborough at 1.45pm on Friday to meet the guys set up the marquee and to bring a few things like tent etc etc, Shunter turned up at about 2.15pm to help me out (cheers bud)i then had to shoot back home to collect my Z, meet my mate with the meat and freezer and pick up my mate Darren. I was hoping to get back to the showground for about 6, but i didnt get back till nearly 8pm and i was a bit gutted.

When i arrived back at JAE, there was about 20 Z's and over 30 people on our stand which instantly cheered me up, we then got the freezer and meat out of the van and said thanks to my mate. After we had set everything eklse up, the beer started to flow, which was much needed.

As the club BBQ didnt get there until late on the Friday night, we had to comprimise, but we found out that MickeyB and Pete2407 had brought BBQ's also, so we quickly nicked them and started to cook food, I'd like to thank Chris@GetGReddy for being the chef on Friday night, Job well done bud.

The night for me was excellent, annoying the Toyota lot, getting lashed, having good food and IMHO having a better night than the whole JAE experiance from 2004.

I eventually got into my tent at about 4am on the sat morning, to then find my blow up bed had a puntcure (no weight jokes please :p ) so as the comfort wasnt good, so i got up at about 5.30am to see Karl300zx (George Doors) polishing his Z and about 15 other members wandering around like drunk lost sheep :D. It pleased me to see that the majority of the mess from the BBQ, drinking session had been cleared up, well done to the guys that did that!

The saturday at the show was good, i counted 52 Z's at one point, lots of visiters to the club stand commented on how good the cars looked, sounded and about the stand itself. I saw lots of members playing photo wars, I have lots of new photoshop heads on my camera, just to let you all know!! LOL! High point of the day for me was when MAC1 quite literally launched barks into the pool, that was class chaps, Low point was about 1hr later when i got a bucket of ice cold water over my head from good old MAC!! I'll get you back, just wait ond see!!

Now, saturday night, and what a night it was. The club had put on a BBQ for all of its members and guests, the beer really started to flow at about 7pm and the BBQ was lit at 6.30pm, In all honesty i cant remember much of the early parts of the night apart from taking the piss outta Steve (Blackmagic) neons and w4nker lights :D

The party/piss-up was going great until a certain non member decided to act the hard man and blatenly take a lot of members drinks.....you know who you are and will not be welcome in the 300zx marquee next year!

After his little show, things really picked up very quickly again, there was a lot of winding up going on, like mobile hairdressing salons etc etc. Vinz popped over for a cut and blow dry to the Toyota stand where he apperantly drank 3 bottles of wine, meanwhile, Chris@GetGReddy, MickeyB, Maxsunny etc etc were hitting the beer very hard, eventually when Vinz came back he then wanted to duel anyone to a Vodka drinking contest, in which he lost in a tragic way! Vinz made up a new game, it must of been called chair pinball, as evertime he stumbled he'd break a chair, i believe he did 3 chairs in 1 strike! :D

That evening we had visiters from the Toyota owners Club, Toyota F1 posse, MR2 OC, Supra OC, Celica OC, SXOC, Subaru OC and others i cant remember. This was a absolutely top night and it carried on into the moring, we acually got closed down via the JAE security at 5.15am

Sunday at JAE, well, it rained, what can be said apart from that, we had a few more owners turn up, you really will have to excuse my ignorance, but as i had 45 mins sleep in my passenger seat of my Z, and the seat doesnt recline (yet another benefit of a SWB LOL) i cant really say i remember a lot about Sunday morning (its got nothing to do with the Alcohol at all ;) )

At 12 midday the Tug'o'war begun, in which we had 6 burly, strong and blatently overweight members fight for our honour against the Supra Mk4 OC, in which we lost 2-1 :( The firstbout was completely even until Viniboy slipped and hurt his back (hope its ok now bud) The 2nd bout, Vini was replaced by Autobeast, and we won that one well!! Unfortunately the 3rd bout went very easily to the Supra boys, they must of used all the power from there chest wigs of summit like that! :D

great day all round - cheers chunk.

Gutted I had to go home on the saturday now, will defiently be there for the whole weekend next year.

It was a great weekend, and very well organized. Well done Rich.

I was pretty lucky to actually make it there at all, a MASSIVE thanks to Pijnhouse for his work in fitting and spraying my new rear spoiler in time for the show.

Unfortunatly the car needed some major t-cutting to remove lacquer overspray over the frontend, that it looked a mess over the weekend.

Met loads of new faces, and there were loads I did'nt get to talk to..infact barely spoke to anyone saturday daytime in an attempt to recover from doing an all-nighter Friday night. (hope we did'nt keep those that went to bed awake)

There were some great evening entertainment provided by those that over endugled on the Alcohol ;)

Top Food !, Well done to Darren on cooking for everyone all night.

Zed's looks amazing all together like that !

Cheers!

Hats off to all the work Chunk and the others put in for our benefit and to the chef who did us proud.

Once again the 300 lads showed the rest of the clubs how to party big styleeee.

Sat night was one of the funniest nights I can remember, let that be a reminder to all those who slope off to their cosy little hotel rooms and a mug of Ovaltine

Paul

HERE HERE.

Big thanks to you all - Organizers and Members for making this the best party I have been to in many years. AND! yes to Rich's mate Darren for all the cooking and running about he did. Nice bloke too.

NOW WHENS THE NEXT ONE? :hyper:

What a fantastic weekend!

I think I went to bed at 8am after a truly great party!

Thanks to all the guys who organised this - I can't wait until next year.

I still can't stop laughing thinking about Vinz "dancing" to our Bee Gee singing! LMFAO! Who's paying for the skittles? I mean chairs?

An extra special thanks goes to Chunk for lending us his chair to get Vinz back to his tent after we scooped him up at 7.30am

Unfortunately there was no way he could stay in it!

The only downer was as Chunk mentioned, a certain ex forum member helping himself to everyones drinks and when I politely asked him not to leave with half a bottle of Pete's vodka he lost it :xxx:

It did lead to a hilarious moment when over at the Toyota stand he decided to start on me and ran across the field like a raging bull, up the steps to the trailer where we were chatting but as he went for me, tripped over the top step and landed flat on his face! :wack: :xxx:

Thanks to the Toyota/Nissan guys for trying to calm the nob head down LOL

Apparently he's banned from about 4 forums as a result :headvswal

I wish you could use more than 10 smilies, as it just doesnt justify how much im laffin at that pic!!

Rich

There are so many more to come mate!

How funny was that night?!?!?!

There are so many more to come mate!

PMSL, good Good!!

How funny was that night?!?!?!

I occasionally just start laughing still, pure quality night that!!

All together now...............

I know your eyes in the morning sun

I feel you touch me in the pouring rain

And the moment that you wander far from me

I wanna feel you in my arms again

Then you come to me on a summer breeze

Keep me warm in your love

Then you softly leave

And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love

Chorus

How deep is your love, how deep is your love

I really mean to learn

'Cause we're living in a world of fools

Breaking us down

When they all should let us be

We belong to you and me

I believe in you

You know the door to my very soul

You're the light in my deepest darkest hour

You're my savior when I fall

And you may not think I care for you

When you know down inside that I really do

And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love

Repeat Chorus

   Quality night! :D

Im gutted we couldnt make it, it sounds like you guys had a real crack

Hopefully the z will be all ready for next years meet

Is it going to be in Peterborough again?

Yes, big respect to Rich and the others for making it all happen.

As I said before, my drunken disgrace was out of sight - it took me 1 hour 15 minutes to find the gate after leaving the 300ZX party. So the g/f who was there to meet me at 2am was waiting until just after 3am to pick me up. I got so stuck I climbed the fence - only to realise I was just by the main gate anyway.

Anyway, looking forward to the next one - I'll last the nigh then!

I had an amazing weekend, the best p155 up I've had in ages, and made a lot of new friends.

Can't wait for the next one, big thanks to Chunk, Darren, and the rest of the commitee - you did us proud.
