Stopped into a pub for a pint, (shandy of course)

we sat outside, i glanced over to the purple beasty and noticed water trickling

from underneath where your fill up your coolant. After further inspection

i realised that the filler neck for the coolant is a simple push fit and that the water seemed to be trickling out from that joint.

Water was warm not hot, temp gauge still sat in the middle ish (slightly lower)

has this happened to anyone else??? should there be a rubber seal where the filler neck meets the bottle????

Oh and then to top everything off, my car developes a very strange squeeking noise, and i when i got home i was disturbed to find out that the pratt :xxx: who had put the alloys on a little while before i bought the car, hadn't tightened the wheel nuts up, none of them!!!! I've been driving my pregnant wife and 9 year old daughter around with the wheels hanging off. :headvswal

I suppose the moral is to check everything yourself before you set out, i feel very lucky indeed, we could have all been killed

Cheers

Mine has done this a couple of times and no problems, I think it's just dumping water and you don't normally notice it, just so happens it did it while you were parked up and looking at it I think. Correct me if I'm wrong here guys... :nelson:
