Well thought I would tidy up some of the wiring on my car, last night I took the stereo out as there was a couple of wires I wanted to solder rather than have crimp connectors, did that put the stereo back in the left it till the morning. Go out this morning to do the wiring on my PTU, I have the series2 PTU and wanted to get rid of the wiring adaptor and solder the wires, do all that and the car wont start, wont turn over at all so spent the day pulling my hair out, redoing everything and thinking maybe its something completely different thats wrong. It was, after 4 hours redoing things taking bits apart etc, I thought "I didnt knock the autobox into gear last night while doing the stereo did I ????" :slap: :slap:

Oh dear!!! Last year I spent two days trying to get the car started when we were staying with my missus's family. Turned out to be cause the box wasn't in gear! First time I'd had an auto. My mind was soon on other things though because the autobox died on the way home the next day and had to be trailered home. Last time I'll have one as well.
