need a quick bit of advice on this one just gone to fit a remapped chip in my ecu and found a label on my ecu that says reprogrammed by turbo systems motor sport now as the car is running stock boost etc i presume this ecu needs boost jets to lift the boost? and are this companys remaps any good on a z? cheers kev

right just found the company on the net and they do superchip reprogrammes time to change the chip i think

Mapping is generally done to however your specific car is set up. I guess a standard chipped ecu would have a generic mapping for the car that ups the power. The superchip ones have a rep for running lean (results in det, buggared engine). I'd strongly advise avoiding boost jets if you can help it and going for a boost controller, much safer as even with aftermarket boost gauges to get a good measure of the boost, jets are susceptible to boost spikes and again running lean. My last Zed died as a result of boost jets and poor boost measurement.
