Straight forward simple question. Basically my bodywork guy sprayed my rear bumper and he caught my HKS Dragger exhaust. Its got blue spray on it, how do i go about removing this? I got a cloth n put some spirit on it that didnt do the trick.

Could try Autosol, pretty good at getting tarnish off chrome bits.

Use standard thinners, can be found in halfords in a small tin, about £4.99. Mind the bumpers though as it will melt the plastic!

A bit safer method would be to use Braso, excellent on exhausts and or rubbing compound/polishing compound, also found in halfords in a yellow tube, about £2.99.

Good luck

I went to Halfords to look for anything that could do the job, but i didnt find something for the exhaust specially, maybe i missed something? I went to my friends who pulled out tescos kitchen untensils cleaner and a silver sponge kitchen ball(Dont know wot its called), sprayed that and rubbed it down, done the job, no cost :) Note: I saw a halfords alloy repair kit for 25 quid anyone think its worthing buying? Its suppposed to make em look like new.

Paint thinners from any car paint suppliers or good motor factor!! this Will take paint off quickly..Do not let it make contact with your body work or any plastic's!!!
