:D Welcome Matt, as has been said if you do a search you will get a lot more info, IMHO running it on Optimax or any higher ron fuel wont do it any harm.

Regular U/L is fine in a stock UK car as they are set up for 95RON fuel. Optimax does no harm though and you may get better economy.

I usually run regular U/L but I have occasionally suffered intermittant safety boost (probably caused by detting) in the very hot weather, but using Optimax in the hot months has stopped this completely. I also get an extra 25 miles between fill-ups so this off-sets the extra cost of Shell's finest.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I've got a 1991 UK 300ZXTT and it will run fine on all OCTAINS of fuel.. You WILL get better performance running Super Unleded 97RON or Even better running Optimax.. Give it a try with both - You'll be supprised how much difference it makes between normal unleded & Optimax!!! Just as a precaution I normall run Super or Optimax as there better for the Engine.. Think of the poor Sods in the U.S that sometime have to run on 91RON Fuel!!!
