Where is it comin from!!

Arite gentlemen!!

Had a thread a month ago for a new intake camshaft pulley well second hand, 550 from Nissan new  !!

This is what i thought i needed to stop my oil leak which was comin from underneath the cambelt covers, ive replaced the camseals and there seems to be no leak comin from the gasket for the plenium the only thing i havnt replaced is the little o-rings at the front of the intake pulleys :smash:

As anyone had simliar probs, any suggestions PLEASE!!

Heard that old PVC valves can build up pressure inside the engine could this be a factor or am i reachin!! Due to replace them ASAP!!

Join the club mate, mines been leaking on and off for 4 years now

My next suggestion is as the cam pulley has been running not true for so long, it really needs a new bearing at the back which can a right piaa!

Am discounting breather problems, (at the mo) as i've not suffered problems with the rear crank seal leaking or oil dipstick trying to pop out.

Am thinking of sticking another head on at this rate :(

smithy

there is a hudraulic thingymabobby attached to teh cam shaft. had mine leak a few years ago. sounds very similar, so i just changed everything there.
