Hi

My car failed MOT last year . Its a big job, there are two layouts of pipes, one is a pain and the other is an absolute B*****d.Of course mine was the hard one to replace and I could only get my local Nissan dealer to tackle the job. They had my car for 2 weeks, the rear diff and sub frame had to come out then they broke the rear oil cooler on the axle.Cost me just short of £800.My car is UK spec dont know if Jap spec is same.Good luck hope yours is easier one to do.

John

I think MAC1 has had his done and it's not a cheap job.

As has been said, the subframe has to come out :(

Just hope they only meant the short pipes on the calipers need replacing but doesn't sound like it...

I've done mine the backs are a nightmare you have to drop the rear suspention. You can reroute them as long as they are secure and not hitting on anything the brakes will be fine and will pass an MOT. If you want more info gimme a shout.

on a serious note..the pipes r cheap, the male/female bits too...the flange tool is about £50 (screwfix)

Do em yourself at 1/2 price???

If its just the 4 pipes then get in touch with Danny a DTA, if its the rest of them then good luck fella

as sarge says is it just the pipes from callipers or the main lines from front to back

or you can buy a brake pipe kit and re-do them yourself, lot of grief, but 800 quid is a lot of doh.
