Help, advice needed on pipes when fitting hicas eliminator bar

hi

i have started to fit a top speed hicas eliminator bar, but need help with the pipework, with the kit is a small bridging pipe (i think) and 3 copper washers , as well as one thick copper washer and a hollow bolt, but i dont know for certain where they are ment to go :smash:

i have searched on twinturbonet but cant find anything.

can anyone please help me as the car is already in bits! :slap:

cheers

you use them to loop the PS fluid feed into the HICAS unit back on itself

as above...

I had a STILLEN kit and the loop adaptor didnt fit my mounted unit where the pipes come off so it was just looped back on itself from the rear rack/hicas unit.

Do a search...

I think i posted some piccys somewhere...

hi

BlackMagic your right i did a search earlier and found out about the fact there is two different types of rack hence i have the one that requires a straight pipe, much like yourself i guess, hence it confused me. not that it takes much. :smash:

how did you joint your pipes together?

cheers for your help

Yes bud...their were two types of rack.....and two types of junction boxes for them.

The junction box (where the adaptor is meant to fit) is tucked up in the rear section of the car...on the underside of the rear passengers seat pan area....not too visisble to begin with....(its the unit that the hose comes from for your rear rack)

Mine was done by just cutting and joining using a straight hose connector and jubilees just where you unbolt the original lines from the rack and left the junction box on there.

Make sure their done up v.tight and make that the first thing you check when testing.

You could go all fancy and buy a braided hose with the proper connections on custom made from demon tweeks but thats more money than a couple of jubleeeeees and a hose connector.

I will get it done one day as undercar bLiNg is the way to go...lol

I think theres another couple of places you can bridge it further back on the system...some where near the passenger side floor pan main support and up by the pump itself...not too sure on this though...
