Wont run right

:headvswal :headvswal

Just got the zed back from the bodyshop, booked in to have it on show at Fast and Modified tomorrow and the ****er wont run now! I have to admit, i pretty fooked off.

Anyhoos... Just started the car with no probs and after a few seconds the idle was bouncing from 1200 to 900. I try to rev the car and it keeps missing, then the revs are dropping right down to near zero.

Anybody got any ideas what the fook is going on? I really need to get this sorted asap.

Cheers

Scott

TPS? mine was doing this, cleaned the TPs contacts and all was well again.

If its just back from the bodyshop most likely your gonna have loads of dust and shit in the engine bay. Clean up all the connectors and look at your air filter.

it did have loadsa shit. ive given it a quick clean out.

anyway, il go and give all the connectors etc a going over.

Keep the ideas coming.

fault codes check! may save a lot of time if something wasnt re-connected.

check the contacts for the CAS, all the plug leads, wiggle the injector plugs, MAF connector, both TPS plugs, a burst or missing vacuum hose, fuel starvation?

good luck!

Cheers for all the help guys. I cleaned out all the connectors, reset the ecu etc and all is now fine.

There was a lot of mess down by the MAF.
