SkylineDave (cheers dude) has arranged 6 spots for Z's to go round the curcuit and a space for 24 to be on display in the car park.

 

Im just awaiting confirmation on nubers and will let you know when i know for sure.

 

I went to this event in 2003 and its really excellent.

:( :( sorry to hear that Dave. Like Rich says just come along anyway - there'll be hundreds of cars in the carpark you can hide the scort in. ;)

okay folks last check before tomorrow - everyone got their passes ok (i hope). those with exhibitors passes need to attend the briefing at 9am before being able to take off around the track. let's hope the weather improves (forecast for tomorrow is better than today [not difficult] )

I have now taken Macca's crown for petrol useage!!

 

62 miles (and 30 of that was a fairly casual drive to Bruntingthorpe and then to the petrol station) and i put in a whole 33 litres which equates to 9.2 mpg :D :bow:

 

Then after filling up ive done a whole 33 miles on track and uses 1/2 tank of optimax :D :D

Just to say, I didnt ride him, ermmmmm!, i took him for a ride, no, drive, yeah that sounds Ok, in my Z round Bruntingthorpe :D

 

I too hope Boldy gets the vids up, he may have to do a bit of voice editing a couple of times as i was heading towards a Land Rover Discovery rather quickly and on a completely different occasion (same lap thou, i think) a load of tyres!!

 

Yup, got home OK, but i think ive used as much water as fuel today (well, maybe not eh!!!) ;)

 

Just like to say once again, thanks to SkylineDave for getting us to such a great meet and i hope i scared the shite outta all my passengers today!! I know i scared meslf once or twice eh Ivan!! :o :)

Wow what a great day it was yesterday (weather let us down in the first half of the day but I even ended up with some sunburn later on - lol). Ive got plenty of short clips which are in 3GP and MP4 format so Ill try and get those up later on.

Many many thanks to everyone who turned up and especially to those who spend so much £££ on taking passengers around the track for charity. :bow: :bow: Even the 300zx.co.uk marquee was there! Also great to meet everyone finally!

Found out tonight I managed a top speed of 137.6mph on the short track and 172.9mph (speedo reading about 185 LMAO, not far off then eh) on the long track all logged by some datascan/satalite thing that Darren (madhammster) setup in my car :dance: :dance:

Yeah this was an absolutley brilliant day!!! I managed to get mine upto a verified 158!! :cool: It was really good to see what the old zed can do on a track. Now I know it wont break after a long day of thrashing, unlike some (you know who you are ;) ). Brilliant day and one of the best meets I've ever been to (apart from my fooking speedo reading 0 whilst i was doing 100+).
