I heard on the radio they are holding back on puttin any more speed cameras up caus they are not sure if they deterring people from speeding....fook me i thought they were there to whistle up a sh*tload of money for the government.Well they can take the fookin lot down for all i care. They,ll come up with another way for us to have to pay for the olympics.... oh yeah they have put the price of petrol up every 2 weeks the robbin coonts!!! :mac1: :mac1:

apparently they are introducing a new 25 mile test where they measure how long it takes to do the 25 miles and what your average speed was as lets face it we all slow down for the camera and speed up again after. they should spend less time and money and resources on this and put it into preventing these terrorists

If road safety were the sole reason for cameras then why don't the government scrap all speeding fines and simply give a minimum 6 points per offence. If you risked losing your licence after just 2 tickets then would you speed?

If you sit back and take a look at the standard of driving skills now-a-days its no wonder the roads are "unsafe". I think they should Re-test every 5 years. OK it wouldn't be easy to im plement but FFS have you seen the way some of these old grannies and old grandads drive? I have found if you drive too slow you can loose concentration and become lapse with your driving. I often find myself stuck behind an "OLD" driving 10 - 20 MPH or more below the given speed limit because (for instance) 60 MPH is too fast for them. "If you cant drive at road speed then you shouldnt have a fookin licence". And to be honest......Who wouldnt want to overtake someone doing 30 on a 60 MPH road? :headvswal

Ive got an old woman walking her dog on our estate that, when ever i pass her in the Z she, shakes her head and fist at me.. im only doing 30 on a straight section of road.. I drive past her in another car going 40 on the same road and she doesnt even notice :headvswal
