Group Buy on Koni shocks - deadline is soon

OK Guyz,

There is a Group Buy being arranged on Koni adjustable shock absorbers. Having trying to go down the KYB route and getting shot down, the Koni's seem to be the best to go for. Also Koni have a fantastic reputation so this is even better wink.gif

The most important information now. The cost will be £425 delivered. The orders must be in by Sunday night ready to place the order by first thing Monday morning - no excuses for being late because we need to get this done. The turnaround will be pretty quick too - within a week wink.gif

Please let us know as quickly as possible because I know people are desperate for these and want to get it sorted RAPID!

CheerZ,

Andy

What me skint? Errr yep! mad.gif

I'm in deffo.

Weren't the springs meant to arrive today wink.gif

Mind you, don't know why I'm moaning...had two new shocks on the rear so I'll skip it anyway...even if I had the wonga...LOL biggrin.gif

Feel better now biggrin.gif

im there like a bear.

But we do need more details about these mister. Ie

how adjustable in the front and how much in the rear. ?

what part number what are they about.

So we've got erm.... 2 so far then.....

Just bringin this one back to the top before it gets lost in the depths....

Warren I'll try and find out for you wink.gif

CheerZ,

Andy

Mine could probably do with replacing...ohh very tempting. Especially since I've had the car over 2 years and there was nothing in the service book about having the shox replaced before I got the car, so they are (more than likely to be) the originals / once only changed.

But then I've never driven another Zed so don't know any comparison. Although I did take the speed bump outside Az's house OK, when apparently his used to catch it.

Would be interesting to see how much they can be adjusted, as we also have a speed bump in our drive which I can just about manage to inch over in my Zed.

Cheers Andy smile.gif

get the height and rate adjustable versions so you can better corner weight the car.

Also a plug to help Andy along, Koni are rebuildable so when they're flogged out you can rebuild them.. and revalve them if so desired.

Koni are THE shock according to all those in the know I've talked to smile.gif

(Andy you can pay me later LOL)

More money to go out the cofer thanks rowan.

oh well you cant win em all.

i hate doing this but i have mailed you please respond.

OK quick update. The shocks we are takling about are adjustable damping for the front and adjustable height for the rear. This allows full tweaking of the cars handling...

Cheers Rowan for the free plug wink.gif

CheerZ,

Andy

Hey come on Timski me old Z loon wink.gifare you not tempted matey?

blitz.jpg

No matey, I like the secret feeling of knowing that if I want the sport mode I can always just pull the handbrake up a click! LMAO biggrin.gif

So let me get this straight, you guys are gonna pay monsterous squid juice for shocks that Nelson originally gave the ability to accomplish anyway? OK! Your green I suppose!

I'll stick with the "OK it's not John Holmes size but it's what you do with it" that counts syndrome! wink.gif

When I'm razzing with a non-equal and neanderthal beast like a Porch 911 only I will know about the secret...heee heee heee!

So while you lot are having to stop and fuck about with yer Koni adjustables, I however will just pull the handbrake up one click! LOL biggrin.gif

Sean Connery voice "One click only Vasiley, one click!"

biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

P.S. from grumpy dwarf, where's me BlitZ springs??? Group buys are pissing me off big time, quick to take yer money and take FUCKING ages to deliver the goods!!! FFS! mad.gif Not like it's days or weeks either, try months!

muwhahahahah glad im not the only one who said it.

If i buy these springs ill pay for them when they can guarentee me nextday delivery.

Timmy Speak to Johhny The springs have arrived at his house yesterday ???

Hmmm that was constructive wasn't it! frown.gif Can we keep this to who wants the shox and who doesn't please???

CheerZ,

Andy

Timmy - the actuall adjustments on the rear are minimal and just be sure you only do one click or the 'emergency steering wheel' will be coming into action wink.gif

Can't even be arsed to respond to that with any conviction or effort! Just makin' a point and it obviously hit a nerve!

im well up for these but still no clear answer as to how you adjust them at the back. Is there nto a link for us to look at what we would be buying?

I've just looked at the Koni site and it seems that the shocks for the Z32 are 8041-1118Sport gas adjustable for the front and 8040-1119Sport Gas non adjustable for the rear ? Is this sounding correct, these are the part numbers they list for the Z. There's not a key on the site so I can only assume that the little radiator key looking thing means they are adjustable.

Use this link and select Nissan from the drop down http://www.koni.com/_cars/_sport/afram.html

Am up for some of these but wnat to know that I'll be able to adjust them to suit the Blitz springs and the way I want the ride

OK, last orders at the bar please :d

Closing time VERY soon so any last takers???

CheerZ,

Andy

Delivery will be quick on these so......

OK the order has gone.... Zach can you please confirm you want a set of these asap as some have been ordered for you. The fronts are rate adjustable and the rears are height adjustable which means the car is fully tuneable....

Can everyone please email their payment details to me so I can pass them on. z32@btinternet.com is the address to use. Payment is required as IMMEDIATELY as possible please. If you don't want to mail them then phone me on 07801735117 after 7pm tonight and I will take the details over the phone...

CheerZ,

Andy
