yes mate mine is an early 93 k reg series 2 and it has seatbelt on side not door . Has to be before 93

Difficult to say for certain whether it's a Series I or II, you'd need to look at the a/c to be sure. However, seatbelt on the doors would usually indicate a Series I, but the interior trim does look like the Series II velour rather than the Series I hessian type stuff. Only guaranteed method is to check the VIN and the manufacturing date lables around the car.

I guess it might have replacement doors from an older zed fitted (in which case one has to ask why), but my money's on it being a '92 or earlier. I've got an early '93 (K plate) and the seat belts are very firmly attached to the B pillar.

Check the label on the bottom of the seatbelts (and there are other places too around the car, that I cant remember) that have date stamps on.
