You may or may not have read/heard that Asda have cut over a thousand jobs this week, primarily in the store management teams. We were all called in this morning (whether day off and no matter what shift we were on), told that there were to be some redundancies and that we'd have one-to-ones over the next few hours (thats all we were told  ). We all spent the next five hours anxiouly waiting for a summons, and for some of us none came. Some of the other guys went into the meeting room, came out after half an hour or so with either good news or bad. For me though it turned out no news was good news. Would have been REAL tough for me if my role had been one of the ones going. I'm having a :duffer: for those that didn't make it, some of whom Ive known for years
