Some of our traders are suffering:(

From underhanded PMs ebay links and people joining in with combined order shipments from the US.

As our traders provide the clubs bank account with around 2k per year what can we do to help them?

I actually think it's their job to help themselves. We have provided an environment fairly free of direct competition with a significant captive audience which is increasing in size. It has been shown several times that the right group buys can be very popular and that good service generates more business. I don't think we should moderate ebay links out (I know some fora do have that policy) as personally I think that's a bit OTT.

What more do you think we could do ?

i agree with andy, ebay etc appeals to many because of the lower costs, but then you dont get the support that buying through our traders will give.

you cant make our members buy from our traders, tho hopefully many will because of the benefits that you get that you dont get from ebay!

If there are any underhand pm's going about, Its a banable offence.

Is it wirth posting something up as a warning??

We did publish the Club's position and policy quite a while back on traders and overseas buying:

Is it not working?

The AUP also states "private messaging (PM) system by unsubscribed traders not allowed" That leaves the subscribed traders stepping on each other's toes?

I feel that Ebay links should be left. It is very much a "buyer beware" market place and most members realise that or so I would have thought.
